To run a marathon is a tremendous test of a person's physical and mental endurance. This year's London Marathon, then, with its sweltering 23.2C conditions that topped the record books, simply became a collective drive to complete the course safely. With that in mind, every single person who finished - and absolutely those who didn't manage to, too - should be immensely proud of themselves.

With that, we'd love to congratulate our two fantastic runners for the day: Heidi & Chris!

Heidi beat the 6 hour mark at 05:59:31, while Chris went supernova at 04:16:59. Both runners, while Chris asked for an ice lolly, seemed far more full of energy than we'd have expected at the end of such an event!

The FTCT team set up around Bermondsey, Bank and the finish line to cheer both runners on, along with friends and family of the two - Heidi even topped up on the sun cream while she had the chance!
